If you put out your art in the public eye, you have no right to cry about it being spliced and it's pieces used in whatever way. If you want your art to be yours and never be used in any way that you did not intend, keep it safe and under lock in your basement. I'm not using generative AI yet, it's still in it's infancy, but as soon as it's good enough, I'll feed my own stuff into it and generate whatever I need. That way I would be able to do without the tedium of laying down every line and filling up every blank space and still keep a general sense of my style while being able to do 1000x more without getting burned out. Professional or amateur artists should be jubilant at the idea of their art being used to train the algorithms of the future. They should push for legislation in favor of them being credited and remunerated instead of trying to pit the ignorant and talentless masses against each-other for views and clicks. On a side note, do you pay royalties to the Japanese people for giving you your art-style? Of course you don't.
