Any ai take over would last 5-10 years. Supplied for the ai would run out. Not to mention the electricity to run it would likely run out within 1-3yrs. Just need everyone to stock pile 5 years of dried goods for those who matter to them. There isn't enough animals to hunt on earth, it can support 10million people ish. It's scarry but it would not be a dark age, nearly a blip on humanity, like the Spanish flu. The world would be better for those who survived after.
