They had a discussion on the subject with a special guest, Danika(comicbookgirl19), among with others on the panel they briefly talked about Shad's bad AI takes, in their introduction. And no one agreed with Shad, they even pointed out the first ai image made looked better than the newer ones. And Danika on the subject made a very good citation from Frank Herbert's Dune, “Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.” Followed by some other members making a funny jokes, completely shitting on Shad's bad AI takes. He certainly got humbled there but even then I fear his ego won't let him see reason on the AI subject, which is sad because he's made lots of interesting projects in 3d programs and ideas over the years, him going so far into AI generation, just seems pure lunacy. Maybe its inferiority complex against his own brother? Your point against Nerdrotic's post went bit far off base, and not what he stands for. Of course, as you admitted, no real knowledge of the person, assumed he's for AI theft but he's not. He openly shits on AI writing and generations, also points at how hollywood writers likely use ai writing to make the generic crap they do. He's an old comic book shop owner turned culture podcast and video creator, on many topics. His points against George is more on the point that GRRM is probably unlikely to ever finish the books, because season 8 of GoT was the outlier of the actual ending, but its horrible reception threw so hard a wrench in his books that he's stuck. Also that George is his own worst nightmare, when it comes to completing writing books, unless they are small vanity projects. Not to forget, he's a big book fan of both George and Tolkien, and can be seen how he lambasts Amazon for how they destroyed Tolkien's works in their show. In comparison him loving House of the Dragon season 1, even with some of the dumb changes.
