I've seen my university peers get academically screwed over because they just take exactly what ChatGPT says without even doing so much as a cursory revision. I've used ChatGPT on essays to do things like come up with an outline (that I'll always end up changing), ask for its opinion on my writing, or even revise certain sentences to be more concise, but I could never just straight up submit work authored by ChatGPT without any modifications. I mean, if it's coming up with citations, you gotta at least make sure those are legit. You don't need to have a freaking JD to understand that 😂😂😂
