As a young boy, I remember reading about share fluctuations and profits of very big companies that were then considered invincible . I am 70 + now, and none of those companies' names are to be seen anywhere: . Humans get bored of just watching machines doing their work and invariably devise new practices to counteract them . In spite of the many alternative modes of modern transport, the bicycle still has a prominent place. If ts discovered that there's life on Mars, lots of people will emigrate, leaving a shortage of labour here on earth. The problem with AI is that the machine could be wrongly programmed and could end up chasing the operator until he has to climb up a tree for safety.
