LOL, nobody is panicking, you arent stopping the AI industry by crying about it in the internet, also most progress in this world hasn't been "ethical" in the sense that everyone was happy with it, moreover there are more things people need to concern themselves over such useless topic only made for the sake of entertainment, the only reason such stuff were produced manually prior was because there was no way to automate it, you can argue that ones skills are ought to be respected, but that doesnt mean it will be the norm if there is easier methods that don't require any effort. Likewise centuries prior, those who have mastered the sword were probably unhappy when firearms were discovered, something which could effortlessly kill someone within a distance, ignorant of their swordsmanship. However swordsmanship still retained nonetheless, despite becoming obselete.
9:48 the fisrt one didnt even claim what is and isnt art?? Anyway i think its foolish to arbitrarily assume all disabled people could make art if they "tried hard enough" and its also foolish to group disabled people as "disabled" as for example someone whos mute does not have any significant disadvantages if he wants to draw something. And, the The reason the AI generates thing like simpsons and such is because such characters are so ingrained to new culture that there probably has been millions of art surrounding them, try to use a copyrighted character that nobody knows of and you'll probably not get anything. Also, if someone took a single pixel from every copyrighted piece of work, then rearranged them in such a way to create something else, would that be plagiarism?
