I remember when I first spoke out about it. They called me stupid and “behind the times.” The worst part was that I was genuinely excited about AI art at first. I’m usually excited about new tech, and I thought maybe it could be used to make art differently since computers learn differently.
But the way it’s been used so far has been really terrible. It’s sad that it tries to boil down art to just a capitalistic entity for consumption. The actual art part of art is ignored
