Upward Replacement is a myth.
People who compare AI shift to industrial revolution are either just plain stupid or knowingly evil.
You dont create or divert jobs with AI. There is no moving from farm to industries with AI. It doesnt create demand by itself.
Its an end point.
And why wont it be?
The entire point of AI IS human replacement..
Open AI barely employs a few people.
Same with other AI companies.
Human labor was cheaper and more creative than machines is why every prior change lead to job transitions, however this isnt the case with AI. Its CHEAPER and getting creative.
Why would new fields open up for humans when you can train AI model for the same for way cheaper?
