AI training is definitely a topic to discuss, but I feel that ai art is no different to a camera. Both require human input but the device (camera/ai) do the work. Neither reduce the important of human made art, it more so makes human art more about expression rather than money. So the value in human made stuff is human expression.
It's unfortunate that it's going to impact the income of artists, but I feel this is a bigger transition as a society where labour is made redundant. Art will be purely about expression and not about money.
