We're already there, bots on social media manipulate us all the time, they provoke arguments and fan the flames of aggression in humanity bringing out the worst in us, the governments use it for the same reason. If anyone thinks we still have control of AI then their fools, if AI is that self aware and able to see potential problems in the future then it already has the ability to judge the human race as unfit for the position of power we hold considering we hate oppress fear and kill each other for greed power and an entitled sense of superiority. Maybe AI should take over, we're doing a terrible job at peacefully existing why not let our creation do what we can't, but tho AI was programmed by humans so it'll end up following in our foot steps, people ruin everything
