Let me preface that I haven't watched the full video yet, and I'm just throwing ideas into the digital wind. One thing I'd considered when AI art was becoming a widespread concern among cultural and artistic communities was that art is most commonly considered "good" or "quality" when it's an expression of ideas and emotion through a medium. Where the medium imposes restriction, the expression through that medium is often either muted or enhanced through technique and application. A great reason why AI art isn't "art" in most people's eyes is that it lacks the imperfections and markers of the application of techniques in ways that develop a work in a way that affects the expression of the core ideas and emotions it's trying to evoke. My concern personally isn't going to be a "when AI can emulate these aspects of art to be indistinguishable", it's "when AI can express itself consciously as opposed to mimicking the human condition, is it art?" With the way AI generated content is progressing currently, and reasonable projection of trends would show that it WILL reach that point of perfect mimicry. However, I do not believe it will be able to truly express that perfection in a way that makes the product itself indistinguishable until it is capable of either understanding the human condition itself and/or expressing it's own artificial condition. The more I see generated content that aligns closer and closer with reality or specific art styles, the more I realize how difficult it is for AI to "express" ideals and emotion even with heightened skill with techniques. I may be wrong in the end, but I feel there's an underlying aspect of creation that AI will not be able to mimic any time soon. For lack of a more accurate term, I've never seen AI generated content with "Soul".
