I just want to clarify that, personally, I have in fact accidentally deleted timelapses in Procreate. It usually happens when I’ve duplicated a canvas to keep certain things consistent within the same series of work, and then gone to clear the recording in order to get a fresh start for a fresh drawing. It has also happened when I’ve repeatedly upscaled a canvas while working, or had to move the piece to a different canvas for some reason or another. I highly doubt that is the case here, nor did the artist in question claim it to be so. Besides, there are other clues pointing towards AI use, which naturally makes it more suspicious. Just please don’t jump the gun on artists for the occasional missing timelapse, unless there are other reasons to be suspicious.
