Here is a scenario everybody must have thought about.
What if (1) human (and probably animal) consciousness is something really deep, mysterious, and valuable, like the actual real deal (2) AI doesn't have it and never will and (3) AI still eradicates life by being "smarter". Then God/the Universe/Nature/... has really fkd up. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
