AI is a shortcut. It makes sense for people who aren’t interested in becoming artists to *only* create images that way. But for anyone who genuinely enjoys the craft, it may be wise to become comfortable with the process because we all suck to some degree in the beginning, and learning takes years of both study and practice. That said, AI can make some neat images without the need for years and years of practice and learning. I suspect it won’t be disappearing, and artists would also be wise to become comfortable with that fact.
