Knowing a bit about tech and design, that AI button was most likely placed there _on purpose_ to actually get hit by accident. If they did not want you to hit it, they would have placed it further away. They probably want users to hit it, and while finding and pressing the button to go back, the user notices what the AI can do.
That is how I got into Youtube shorts. I hated the format and everything about how it was copying Tiktok, but I could never properly remove the shorts from the home page (you can only remove them for a week). Now though I can scroll for quite a while on shorts alone, and I'm on PC... They put new features they want us to use front and center to get us to notice it and get annoyed by it, thus allowing it to live rent free in our heads until we get used to it enough to actually start using it.
