The tech industry has really gotten so arrogant and flush with power with their billionaire dick waving. It slowly became a sick subculture since the maverick days of the 90s. Its cultural sense of self importance has greatly reduced trust and we've seen them sucking up to tyrants and amoral demagogues for the race to profits. The latest gold rush of AI is so dangerous, while scumbags like Sam Altman are blithely throwing caution to the wind to play in the same sandbox as musk, bezos and schmuckerberg. I'm seriously concerned about the future we're leaving the next generations. Abusive use of this amazing tech, especially AI, is reality becoming so dangerous for democracy. Already is in a variety of ways. Algorithms are terrible enough, but supercharged with AI? JFC.😂
