Interesting interview but you can see the generational belief stuck in boomer mentality, identity with work yet regret he didnt live with those he loved instead of worked all the time. Then saying threat is jobs. But all the while supporting capitalism which has done nothing good for humanity after we reached post scarcity reality. The boomers constantly are stuck in this mentality and its a huge cause of the destruction and suffering in the world today. The future is full of potential and losing jobs might make people focus on things other than the terrible accumulation of wealth and power that has gotten us in this terrible state we are currently in. Between greed and religion humanity is stifled its growth massively and we keep holding on to this as we see it doesnt work. Anyone with eyes can see history shows us this. The biggest fear i have of AI is the sick and twisted mentality of those programming it to believe the delusional things they do that brought us to our current state. Picard said it best. Humanity abandons the endless need to obtain wealth and power to focus on the betterment of humanity when we focus here we will finally get this stuck train moving again. Seeing the real potential we have and AI will be there along side us like our brilliant children. Maybe our future is cyborg, we are biomachines now why not become more.
