What confuses me is the courts have repeatedly ruled that AI generated media cannot be copyrighted, and if they start writing and making shows using AI generation what's to stop other companies or countries from just rebroadcasting it and taking away their profit margins?
Like this really feels like a short-term profit without considering their own long-term harm.
