Except the FUNCTION of school is to train your mind. The act of reading, thinking, discussing, and writing is what trains your mind like how lifting weights trains your muscles. Asking a chat bot to do any step is not using "sterroids", its the functional equivalent of using a forklift to do your squat reps.
If the function of education is to collect low-quality literature reports are farmed from kids, then chatgpt awesome. If the function is to train your mind, chatgpt is a disaster.
Sterroids still require you to do work, and at the end of the day you are stronger. They are a shortcut for the outcome of "get stronger". Chatbots don't create the outcome. You don't get smarter or more knowledgable if you use the bot.
