Or if that is the average, the normal for the lower 50% of the population is much worse than 50 years ago. It’s weird to hear you say the average person works 40 hours a week when 40 years ago, a family could have one person working outside of the home and one person working inside of the home and maintain a decent lifestyle, and that just is not possible now.
