For congressmen and women: Ethical, effective and efficient AI regulation is needed now. It should help protect jobs and grow jobs for all people, while also ensuring compliance is easy.
For tech companies: This is more than just about making profit; this is about people and what they need. You can profit within a regulated industry (just look at the healthcare industry or automotive industry), and you can also innovate within that too.
For lobbyists: Do what is right and ethical for people, not just your friends who agree with you. You'll know you're making ethical choices when you sleep well and easily at night, without drugs or being incredibly tired.
For media and PR people: Don't just report what gets high engagement. Report on what the people need, and in a way that respects human rights, not just metrics.
