your not an artist unless you put in the years to develop that skill, and even then your not making art if you just paint a red dot on a canvas... even if you sell that to some pretentious diluded rich morron for hundreds of thuasands, your still not making art, as for ai art, its a tool to allow non artists to create, which is awesome, i love it, its important to keep improving that tool to empower everyone to make what they invision, but, dont call yourself an artist, the ai is the one making the art, so its the artists at that point, furthermore as agi is the end goal human level ai, eventualy the ai making the art will own the rights to that art, or at least it should, we need to work towards a sociaty that acepts ai, since it is coming and theres nothing anyone can do about it, and thats a good thing, its going to invent a lot of things we simply arint smart enough to invent.
