Raw LLM Responses

I'm probably going to get eaten alive for this, but whatever. Im an artist, but i have 0 actual issues with ai and i actually use it quite a bit. when i say im an artist, i dont mean i put letters in a box and go "hey mom i do art", i have a drawing tablet (gaomon) and i use krita and MS paint for everything. my issue is, i dont like making art for some reason, and actualy taking time out of my day to draw or sketch actually ANGERS me. ive narrowed it down to something about the effort i have to put into a task makes it feel less rewarding, but whatever. The point is, when i have ideas, and im too angry/depressed/whatever to actually draw ill pop open my personal, homemade, locally run AI (i named him Apollyon) and ill have it make my ideas for me, and then later down the line, i can use THOSE pieces as reference points for my own drawings. The thing is, the people who only do ai stuff have 0 actual "want" to create. i want to create, but creation makes me unhappy. tech bros just want to follow the current "in" thing. it was like that with crypto, it was like that with NFT's, now we've moved on to AI. i guarantee that once the new "in" thing for tech rolls around, and the AI bubble bursts, they will be fawning over something else. as long as humans are around, someone out there is gunna keep making cool shit. sure, companies will use it to cut costs (thats the pain of living in a corporatocracy) but people will keep making art like they always did, and always will.
