i think im the only one of the only people who sympathize with ai "artists", imagine this: you really want to become good at art, you wanna be able to draw but everytime you try, you fail miserably until the point you feel like a failure and cant do anything right, now here comes this new tool that lets you be an artist without feeling like shit, naturally your brain latches on to that and doesnt let go.. (also btw this doesnt mean i support ai artists) i can relat to that but the thing that seperates me from them is that when i inevitably realised, i just accepted the fact that i was never going to get good at art and i just bottled up my emotions like a normal person, i didnt stoop that low.. also another point i see people make is that ai art gets rid of the soul and imagination, and to that i say.. yes thats correct BUT the imagination is there sort of because they needed to think of the prompt itself, the soul is in the person not the "art". but there is a bad side to ai "art" where the "artists" try to monetize their "work", this is where it gets a bit touchy because there isnt exactly a good way to figure out if they really think they are actual artists or if they just want to make money, when i look at an ai artist i dont see a lazy scumbag, i see a broken, desperate person who's coping
