We already had significative power for a.i component before the craze of building data centers.
Honestly it feels like they are fallowing a narrative and not being honest with anyone at all.
Data centers seems to be an excuse to buy up the landmass.
Like before the a.i bubble pops thwy want to capture as much land as possible.
Then when the bubble pops. "Their freinds" come and buy these lands for pennies...and then we endbup ina country which no land is free.
A.i usage is blown out of proportion. The investments are way out of bounds to the actual revenue, not projected revenue.
