Claiming AI generated art as your own is like claiming a commission you bought as your own because you described what you wanted. Something/someone else did all the heavy lifting for you, you don't get to profit because you had a really cool idea. Anyone can come up with a banger idea, the "art" in "artist" is the work they did to develop the skill to make the idea happen. Whether it's character design, landscape painting, digital model creation, pixel art, animation, stop motion, music, interpretive dance, ANYTHING, it's all skill sharpened to put that idea on paper as close to what was in their mind.
