The description of Silicon Valley was very important. I happen to know multiple people that have founded extremely successful startups, but in Europe. Most of the startups were eventually aquired by a American tech giant for very high price. More than one of them got great positions at the corporation, but left because of the amount of time they had to deal with despicable people of Silicon Valley.
