Some people really say that ai is going to improve art, but it really can't as art is a form of expression that isn't inherently "upgradable" sure ai can generate cool art. Nice. But why is it really doing that? You can argue that ai is art all you want but you need to take the time to think about what this could mean for humans as a whole. Why do you watch your favorite content creators? Is it because flashy lights and bright colors? Likely not, it's for their personality and their views on certain topics I assume. But I can assume that ai will replicate that soon. As an artist, I'm fighting for the human parts of being human. If they are practically automated then that just removes a part of it. First its any incentive to try and pursue art as a career, and I'm worried where it'll go next :/ Also the digital art to ai jump is nowhere near the physical to digital jump. Digital artists can draw just as good on paper. But take an ai writer and make them write a story on their own, they may be able write, or take an ai artist/animator and give them the highest quality tools to do the task, they wouldn't be able to do it unless they were experienced with the artform beforehand(unlikely). I'm not even mad anymore, I just want them to let artists be creative and work hard to chase their bag. Yk?
