15:57 I don't think you take the "what if AI art was actually good" hypothetical far enough. At 16:28 you say you can't discuss the show because everyone will have their own, but why not generate them for target demographics instead of for each person, then people can discuss. In fact, why not take it further, if AI was actually arbitrarily more advanced, why not make an AI agent who would go about their day at school/university/job, accumulating lived experiences and then make it write a show. In a way, all art is a reflection of one's life experiences and through those a reflection of their culture and in some ways of humanity as a whole – social trends, art movements, politics, etc. Hell, let's take it a step further, why not make a team of these AI agents and make them philosophical zombies - perfect copies of humans that just lack emotions and fear of pain or death. And then this team would go out, live "lives" for a couple decade, then form a film studio and film a tv show. Would that be art then? It would be a reflection of real lived experiences; there would be a sort of mind behind those characters. The only difference in this case would I be that humans just from a sense of tribalism would prefer stories made by their fellow man, but that's just silly. Maybe you can take it even further, and, assuming there is nothing paranormal going on within human consciousness like souls and such, add a version of emotions - some form of chemical triggers, and fear of pain and death that would be analogous to human genetically encoded triggers of said things.
