This is why I'm not really worried about AI from an artists point of view. It will take some jobs, and may even find a more permanent niche, but people just don't care about it. No project that uses AI art wants to be taken seriously on its own. Even if the creator is in denial about it, it's still the case. If you're serious about a project, you want creative control. When someone is okay with delegating, not to a team member with their own vision, but to a system with by its very nature the most generic vision possible, it signals to the viewers that they didn't really care, so neither should you.
