Hi, my name is Disc, a 14 year old artist who has dreams of animating for cartoons and stuff, to create a new generation of artists who look up to me and my art, and find their new passion. When Sam (an artist I myself have been looking up to for maybe 2 years now??) Spoke about how the younger generation feels hopeless, I can 100% agree. I'm starting to give up on my dreams of becoming a well known artist and having enough money from the art that I produce to put food on the table every day. Recently, I have been feeling like no matter what I make or will ever make, the bots can do it better at the snap of a finger. I know it's stupid how I'm kinda giving up, but this has been a really big hobby, and seeing these stupid bots do things 283782 times better than I is super discouraging. I don't actually think that I will stop drawing forever or whatever, but I have been trying to get myself to realize, that, hey, I know your dreams about this are huge, and you want to sit at a table 16 hours a day getting Carpal tunnel and having the worst posture known to man, and you want to go to an art college and finally find the people who have the same interests and dreams, but this technology won't allow you to do any of that. It will always make things better than you ever could. Having to realize that my art might actually just become a hobby and not my job, my life, is super soul crushing. Anyways yeah I hate AI art.
