Raw LLM Responses

This will likely not be a popular comment, but I don't want to go back to the days before LLMs. Just an hour ago I felt so frustrated because my car keeps beeping at me every time I turn off the engine and open the car door. The beeping stops after I close the door, but I don't want it to beep at all. I complained to Grok about my frustration and Grok suggested that I check to make sure that my headlights are set to Auto instead of On. I checked and they were, set to On for some reason. I turned the headlights to Auto and now my car does not beep at me after shutting off the car and opening the door. It seems like every day I run into situations where I have questions that would be impossible for a normal search engine to answer. However, not all LLMs are the same. ChatGPT used to be my go to, but time after time it would provide bad answers. I finally got fed up with ChatGPT on April 11. I asked about the polling numbers for the primary for California governor. I then asked how the numbers might shift because of the sexual assault accusations against Eric Swallwell. ChatGPT didn't want to answer any questions about that and cautioned me about speculating. Grok gave very up to date information, including many prominent Democrats withdrawing support. ChatGPT didn't have any of this very relevant information. Apparently, the very next day, (April 12) Eric Swallwell suspended his campaign for Governor. This was the last straw for me, so I deleted ChatGPT from my Lock Screen, and replaced it with Grok. It's not speculation if it's in the news. I wasn't asking whether or not the allegations were true. I was only asking about the fallout from the allegations. There was another incident that happened when I was filling out my tax return. The software was asking me about time and a half income which is supposed to be tax deductible now. ChatGPT didn't seem to know anything about it and seemed to be very overly cautious. The other LLMs seemed to know all about the bill that was signed into law regarding no tax on the premium portion of overtime pay. The other LLMs knew that box 14 was used for that purpose because of the fact that the law was so new and there was no time to standardize W-2 forms for that purpose. ChatGPT is horrible for situations where you have questions about recent events. I feel like Grok is far superior so far.
