I’m genuinely scared.. my siblings have been consuming ai content on TikTok, my father relies on ai a lot and I’ve seen a common trend in my friends where they use ai for essays, maths (which surprise! Gave them wrong answers), competition (STEM! A field that requires accurate facts!) but they also use it for the most trivial things. STEM has been awful to me and I’m planning on switching courses to accounting, however I’ve been told ai will most likely be able to replace demand for accountants :( I don’t like that I keep reading “ai is a step in evolution” or “ai is helpful”. I’m still 16, and I don’t like how some teachers actually endorse ai use! It’s like people don’t want us to think anymore! I don’t want to sound rude, but I really dislike ai. It should’ve never been invented. I don’t like the idea of having an ai friend. I don’t like the idea of substituting human experience with whatever the bot generates for me. I don’t like the idea of being treated by a doctor who graduates with ai.
