Eh, i think it's wrong to compare using an AI to actually being an artist, i think they're completely different things. However i do also think that there is a world of difference in what someone who is good at using AI can create vs what someone who is bad/new at it can create.
I do think that eventually AI will just be another tool that's used in the process of creating certain things, and that some people will be far better at using those tools than others, but it will never replace actual art.
AI is not going anywhere, it's too powerful, we just need to make sure that it's not trained on stolen assets.
