I like AI for a lot of reasons, but I strongly dislike the way people want to abuse it. There should definitely be laws to stop and prevent things it can do wrong.
AI should be nothing more than a tool that can be used to assist. It shouldn't be able to be used for deceptive purposes. It also shouldn't be replacing art such as imagery, films, music, or writing.
I love that we can use it to assist in all of those things and more, but we can't allow it to go rampant and lying or misinformation or harming in any other way. There's a lot that can go wrong if its allowed to be used abusivley.
AI laws are the best way to fight against these things, and helps make sure AI grows in a positive direction.
