I think the main issue is whos leading the AI charge, its either CEO's who are the definitions of greed and power hungry willing to push past safety to accomplish they're goal, tech bros who don't know what were doing, and the absolute worst of them are the CEO's who are actively working for our downfall (like musk) because "it's gonna happen no matter what"
AI isen't intelligent, it's a dog, it mimics it's owners, if you act malicious, AI is going to be malicious too, there's plenty of examples of it already
