a few points... Ai, like humans views art and learns to draw from it as well as for the style. Is not illegal for a human to learn from others or to copy their style, why should it be illegal for an AI to do the same? People that can't draw or can't afford to have realistic art made are able to have art they imagine thanks to AI. For simple prompts it inserts creativity, but for complex ones it brings life to your vision. With diamonds we can create flawless ones in a lab yet those that can afford it still prefer defective natural diamonds. But those that don't have the money can buy much cheaper lab created diamonds. It's the same for art, those with money will still value human drawn art. When digital art became a thing, artists using a physical medium complained the digital at was fake and had no soul, they also complained it made at cheap since you didn't need paper, pencils or paint, yet it still caught on. Consider then as well that a AI can't copy physical art unless someone takes a photo of it, but the AI versions won't be real physical art. If you make non digital art it's more real and far safer. I'm sad that artists feel this way, but negative reactions never help in the long run, advancements still come in any field whether it's AI or not and you either adapt or get pushed out. While poisoning the AI may work in the short term or even protect your art, its not going to change anything. The AIs already have enough art and they will overcome the defects of they want something bad enough. Ultimately this may make you feel better and it's your choice, but I feel like it's punching air and will ultimately be wasted effort.
