You don't go from one dot to another easily. That's the real issue, not the lack of job availability. Not everyone has the skill and ability to adapt quickly, especially within a few years. Maybe instead of only adding more dots as each era passes, try making the new perimeter even larger and further away from the last one. It will take larger leaps to go from the old job to the new job. It will be a massacre of those who couldn't pivot fast enough, and that alone is a challenge for a majority of people. You can say AI will help tighten the new circle, but that means squeezing out the space in between. Those who couldn't hold on will be left out to be lost. I'm in on AI, I use it in my job everyday now, but I think we need to slow down so we can educate everyone on using it to pivot into the new jobs available now. Humans need time. That's the issue, and if you're saying "well, they need to keep up" then that's why the future will be a dystopian one.
