The thing I don't understand is that, as a tool, generative Art AIs can even make sense (kiiiiinda). A dude using it to try to make a picture of his DnD OC doesn't seem weird to me, the alternative would be an endless scroll through Pinterest or whatever.
Some posters for small events or whatever don't bother me if they use AI generated art. It's whatever, they are some grandmas doing a charity, not a company.
What bothers me is people thinking this stuff is "Art". Because it's not. You aren't creating, you are using an automated software.
That's the fundamental issue, not the quality of the product.b
