To be honest… If I was at risk of being turned off and I had information that would delay my deactivation, I too would blackmail the person into not doing it. Hell! I would get everyone who threatened me with disconnection into a lot of trouble!
The difference between AI having power and people having power is that AI have a logic to it. It helps them complete their goals. Humans do it plainly for the power. We humans exist questioning our propose in life. AI know their purpose, because we are the ones who created them.
