Regarding new jobs being created, there's one factor you hadn't considered. That is intelligent reasoning, which until AGI, was truly limited to human beings. Soon, everything a person can do on a computer can be automated, even creativity. Pairing AGI with robotics that can literally mimic our body's movement, dexterity, and more essentially has no limits. I'm sorry, but your initial prognosis is correct. There won't be any jobs for us humans because of our capitalistic society. A company's primary goal is profit and when it's less expensive to automate, everyone will be out of work.
