Approx. 9mins 55secs to 11mins 10secs: Some thoughts:
1.) Government regulation of AI in the same way as it regulates currency printing - Government/central banks have a monopoly on currency printing and people accept cash because of that monopoly. I don't think this is a viable solution for AI and 'fake news'. It will just lead to governments having a monopoly on the production of fake news, even assuming that all of the output of fake news could be caught. It is a recipe for totalitarian dictatorship.
2.) So it is okay to question the veracity of the 2016 US Presidential election, but not the 2020 one? Got it.
3.) The Brexit vote: why does it not occur to people that manipulation may have been taking place on both sides of that debate? Oh yes, because voting remain was seen as the intelligent, sensible thing to do, so clearly people who voted that way could not possibly have been manipulated. Right.
However, if the goal is division within a society ....
