I don't think that we can call this just a people problem... AI is hyped up as though it's smart and accurate... it is given a unique place as an authority that it doesn't deserve and gasses up people's egos.
Heinz actually makes a substitution on the other side... putting potassium chloride in their "no salt" ketchup. This is much safer than bromide though. Dude would have been better off with MSG than sodium bromide.
