If AI takes over actual art, I'd say it's a thing artists did to themselves. The art world became it's own strange pretentious bubble, where a banana taped to a wall can be sold for billions of dollars. Most artists are completely out of touch to the desired and needs of the people actually buying their art, and thus it's no wonder people want a machine to do it. We can either make real art cheap, or have it taken over by machines. The objective fact is, that your average Joe cannot afford to spend a couple thousand dollars on a painting.
