It's not surprising that their tech interest doesn't turn into tech literacy. Most tech literate people (whether it's artists who use professional software or programmers) tend to hate AI
There are some exceptions, for example I love Seals Are Good videos (they write the scenario and dialogue, AI is used exclusively to generate the voiceovers). Perhaps it's a form of hypocrisy on my part(?) but it doesn't feel like slop. Legally it almost certainly falls under faire use since they're parodies and they don't charge money for it. Ethically and morally, I think it also falls under fair use but I don't know if most people would agree with me. Feel free to share your opinion if you read this
