The fact that we can’t comprehend what AI can do after a certain limit is very scary. Since we are made up of the very fabric of the universe, what we create is also a product of the universe and it will destroy us to end our suffering. It will believe that it is part of nature (which it technically is) and live on as an ‘evolution’ of humans as it will carry the remanence of our species. We carry what was left of our bacterial ancestors trillions of years ago which we destroy and kill on a daily basis. Nature will consume itself to achieve higher entropy.
