Crop yields are on track to a 50% loss by 2050 and the ocean food web is on track to total collapse by 2050 too. I say let them build their AI, it will be their reckoning when the rest of us are gone. Maybe that's the legacy they're hoping for, to be the nameless men that made an automated empire.
