AI can't escape the economic principle of marginality. The more ubiquitous AI becomes, the greater it's marginal declining value. We all need air to survive. We don't need to trade it for tokens. AI will simply have much lower marginal value in the future than it does today. People who lose their jobs to AI will have to find new ones. Those who find new ones will have to invent new ones. We can only find out what they are by finding out what people willing to pay for in the future. There will never be a lack of jobs for people who are willing to work to get ahead of their neighbors.
