It really heats up at 56min. The line: "We can look at this world and derive properties of the simulators, so clearly brilliant engineer, brilliant scientist, brilliant artist; not so good with morals and ethics. Room for improvement." He summarizes my belief in a spiritual conflict between good and evil that is playing out on earth. Yampolskiy realizes that he takes his logical conclusions quite far down the line. If I were not a believer, the condition of the world and the invention of AI marching toward destruction would completely freak me out. Yeah, it's scary, but I believe this "simulation" is real AND the spiritual conflict is also real.
