There are solutions through global politics, but most of the wealthy and elite who manage everything have incredibly short term perspectives, and through the lens of their profit margins, they will dictate policy that benefits them first.
If we can't break away from the "me first" global mindset in politics, we are doomed. We could last much longer as a species, alongside AI, if our perspectives on how the dynamic of a society is meant to develop and thrive over time.
Capitalism and the uncapped accumulation of wealth only allows for constant corruption. It can't be stopped because of humanities own flaws. We have to put limits on ourselves first, and create better habits as a culture. Habits that become engrained through a societies approach to governance and economics, and the altruistic agendas of all people.
Until we can grow up a little bit more, we won't see this threat change.
